Species group: Softwood
Colour: Reddish brown, sometimes pale brown in colour.
Uses: Ideal for cladding and external work
Properties: Easy to work with and naturally very long lasting, being very durable as well as a high resistance to decay.
Finishing: Can be Oiled or stained using a UV filter. If untreated over time Douglas Fir will fade to a silvery-grey over time.
(As this is a natural product, knots, grain and colour variations will occur)
